About the Position

You will be employed by Montico and hired as a consultant to one of our clients in Tranås. After six months, our clients aim to take over the employment, so each assignment is to be considered long-term. Montico helps you get the chance to show what you can do and provides the opportunity to work at a company you enjoy.

Job Description

The roles we are primarily looking for are:

• Welder: primarily MIG/MAG welding, but some TIG welding may also occur. You will mainly weld stainless steel in varying thicknesses. Important qualities for a welder are being self-sufficient in reading blueprints and having a sense of quality.
• CNC Operator: you will be responsible for programming CNC machines, such as Fanuc and Heidenhein. You need to have an interest in machinery and a quality mindset.
• Laser Operator: your responsibility is to supply machines with material and set the correct settings in the laser machine. Good computer skills and the ability to plan both your work and the machines' work as efficiently as possible are important here.
• Painter: the work can involve both an automated powder coating facility and manual wet painting. As a painter, it is important to have an eye for detail and high precision in your work.

Most assignments are 2-shift or daytime, but other working hours may occur.

We are looking for you who

Since the ad concerns several different roles, we would like you to meet some of the qualifications below:

• Welding certificate for 135/138 or IW diploma, preferably at the pipe level. Experience in performing visual inspections according to 5817
• Green card, CNC
• Blueprint reading
• Experience in machining
• Experience in painting
• Forklift license according to TLP10
• Overhead crane license
• Driver's license

Your personal qualities are at least as important as your education and experience. Our clients are looking for someone with a technical interest and experience working with machines. However, the most important thing is that you have curiosity and a willingness to learn new things, as well as being a person with drive and commitment to your work.
